This is an intro-level course for students interested in further developing their performance skills through fun acting games and exercises. Over the course of the year,  students will begin to develop a personal love for performance and creativity by participating in various ensemble-based wamp-ups and exercises. They will learn what it is to be a theatrical storyteller and dive deeper into character creation with an introduction to basic text work. Students will creatively explore the world of theatre and get an introduction to theatre history. A unit on theatre appreciation will also help students grow to become more understanding, well-developed artists. Taking this course is a great way for students to explore the world of performing arts and gain confidence they can take with them for the rest of their lives!
