Step into the fascinating world of life sciences in this hands-on course designed for junior high students (ideal for 7th graders). Students will explore key biology topics, including cells, genetics, mitosis, meiosis, photosynthesis, respiration, the six kingdoms of life, and human anatomy. Each week features a live lecture and hands-on lab, with all lab supplies provided for in-person students. Textbook readings, homework, lab reports, and tests will be completed at home, and every student will design a science fair project during the second semester. An optional field trip may also be offered. Join us for an exciting, interactive introduction to the science of life!
