Throughout this advanced course, students participate in classes designed to further teach ASL interactively and comprehensively, as a foreign language. Students will grow in fluidity, spatial concepts, use of classifiers, and storytelling - while continuing to learn and practice: fingerspelling, advanced use of numbers, language rules, syntax, grammar structures, extensive vocabulary, advanced conversational skills and more! This course further covers aspects of Deaf culture, noteworthy figures in Deaf history, and details of important events.
